Michelle Miller invites you to attend bespoke art workshops in her private studio in Victoria, BC. Maximum 6 students per workshop. 

Miller creates a new project for every workshop she hosts. These weekend workshops are as unique as her students. She strives to spark a passion for painting, whether you are new to painting or experienced, the workshops are easy to follow and challenge you to push yourself just the perfect amount.

Balancing the visceral with the cerebral, Miller prompts her students to explore the depths within themselves. During the intimate, three hours, workshop Miller provides the support to express your mind and heart creating complete harmony within.

A limited number of students are accepted at each workshop. These private workshops are exclusionary so that Miller can provide the highest level of attention, guidance and customized mentorship to every art student attending.

Price: $125 per person. This includes all materials, coffee and tea.

International Art Retreats

‘One of my favourite things in my life to do is teach overseas to artists of all levels. People  from North America, New Zealand and Europe have participated in these retreats and many  have returned a number of times’.

Michelle gets very excited every time she speaks of her international art retreats of which she  has been doing since 2007. ‘The enriching experience of another culture and country is  amplified ten fold when combined with creating art. The senses are heightened. It’s that  pause and relaxation of art that truly allows you to see, smell, taste and absorb all that is  around you. And being with like minds opens the conversations of these experiences. Very  tight and enduring friendships have been bonded over the years. I absolutely love it!’

During the time we are there, we will alternate our excursions with full days of art making at the agriturismo. We will still be using our sketchbooks and drawing while we are out sightseeing,  so be sure to never be without it! The materials you need for this program are minimal and take up VERY little space in your luggage. I have been doing these excursions for so many years that I have the supply list down to a science! I generally will provide a few extra items for you as well.

The excursions are not included in the prices and are nominal and payable directly to our drivers or captains ( or the fee of entrance) These include a day on Capri, a day to Amalfi &  Positano villages, a day to Pompeii.
